Pool Admin Functions - Quick Tutorial

Entering Picks for a Participant:

This function is still available in the mobile version.

When on the pick sheet, click Page Settings from the Pool Navigation menu, select the corresponding participant and click Go. Then make their picks as you would your own.

The remaining Pool Admin functions are accessible under the Select Admin section of the expanded Pool Menu sub-menu of the Pool Navigation menu:

Set Pool Notice:

Here's where you can post a message that will be displayed on all your pool pages.

Simply type whatever message you want and click Save Pool Notice. Click the More link below the box to make it bigger. Clearing the contents and saving will prevent the Pool Notice from being displayed.

Edit Pool Config:

Here's where you can step through our Pool Configuration Wizard (like you did when you first created your pool) to modify a pool setting.
NOTE: Some settings can't be changed once pool picks have been made.

Here, you can also reset your pool here (i.e. delete pool picks) and even delete your pool.

Manage Participants:

Here's where you maintain your pool participants.

Here, you can remove pool entries, lock pool entries (i.e. prevent them from accessing pool pages), manage participants paid statuses, initiate an email to selected participants as well as export your list of participants to a csv file.

Use the filters under the Page Settings to filter your list accordingly (e.g. by name/email/pool handle, by unpaid/paid status).

To remove pool entries, check the corresponding boxes, select Remove From Pool from the Select Action dropdown list and click Go.

To lock pool entries, check the corresponding boxes, select Toggle Lock Status from the Select Action dropdown list and click Go.
WARNING: If a selected participant's current status is unlocked, they will be toggled to locked. Locking participants prevents them from accessing pool pages, handy for getting the attention of delinquent payers.

To mark participants as paid (or unpaid), check the corresponding boxes, select Toggle Paid Status from the Select Action dropdown list and click Go.
WARNING: If a selected participant's current status is paid, they will be toggled to unpaid.
NOTE: next to a participant indicates an unpaid status, where indicates a paid status. You can also click on either of these icons to toggle a corresponding participant's paid status.

To initiate an email to participants, check the corresponding boxes, select Send E-mail from the Select Action dropdown list and click Go.
This will pre-populate our Send E-mail & Invites form with the selected participants' e-mail addresses, where you can compose your e-mail.

To export your participants to csv, check the corresponding boxes, select Export to CSV from the Select Action dropdown list and click Go.
This will generate a comma separated value (CSV) file with your selected participants' details.

Manage Invites:

Here's where you can invite participants from previous pools or re-invite previous invitees to your pool

To invite participants from previous pools to join your pool, check the corresponding boxes from the bottom table and click Send Invitation to Selected Participants.

To re-invite previous invitees (i.e. people you've already invited to join your pool), check the corresponding boxes from the top table and click Re-Send Invitation to Selected Addresses.

Either option will pre-populate our Send E-mail & Invites form with the selected e-mail addresses, where you can compose your invitation.

Send E-mail & Invites:

Here's where you can e-mail your pool participants or invite people to join your pool.
TIP: Use the Manage Participants or Manage Invites pages to help pre-populate the E-mail addresses box with e-mails already entered on site.
